Why do I need to reset my GitHub token on the web?Last Updated: July 24, 2019
We don't store your token on our servers for security reasons. They are stored encrypted in your device. So we sometimes need to reset them to regain access to your GitHub projects. Otherwise, we won't be able to compute your reports.
When that happens, you will see a dedicated popup be displayed. You just need to make sure that you are connected to the right GitHub account within your browser, and then click on "reset token" in this popup.
However, if you are connected to another GitHub account in your browser than the one you connected on GitHub, and you click on "reset token", we won't be able to compute your reports again, and you will see the popup again.
